Position Overview
The Accountant & Administrative Professional will be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations and supporting day-to-day administrative functions. This role requires a blend of accounting expertise, compliance knowledge, and administrative coordination to ensure smooth operations and informed decision-making within the ICT sector.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts to support strategic planning and ICT project performance analysis.
- Oversee end-to-end accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain precise financial records and ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
- Develop and present financial dashboards and performance reports tailored to ICT business operations.
Tax & Regulatory Compliance
- Manage all ZIMRA-related postings, tax computations, and submissions in accordance with Zimbabwean regulations.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and maintain up-to-date compliance documentation.
- Process NSSA payments and returns, adhering to social security obligations.
- Stay updated on changes in fiscal laws and implement necessary adjustments.
Inventory & Operational Administration
- Conduct regular stock reconciliations for ICT hardware, software, and related inventory.
- Support procurement processes, vendor management, and purchase order administration.
- Maintain accurate asset registers and coordinate inventory reporting.
- Assist in optimizing administrative workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
Systems & Process Excellence
- Utilize Accounting platform such as Zoho, Quickbooks or Odoo for all financial entries, reporting, and automation.
- Leverage MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint) for day-to-day tasks.
- Recommend and help implement improvements in financial and administrative processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA is a strong advantage.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting and administration, preferably within the ICT, technology, or services sector.
- Demonstrated experience with Zoho Books or similar accounting/ERP software.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, ZIMRA regulations, and statutory requirements in Zimbabwe.

- Analytical Thinking – Capable of transforming financial data into actionable business insights.
- Communication – Clear and professional in written and verbal reporting to management and external parties.
- Ethics & Discretion – Unwavering integrity in handling confidential financial and company data.
- Business Alignment – Awareness of the ICT industry and ability to align support functions with company goals.
- Sales – Ability to sell and also meet sales targets is an added advantage.
